It is hard to blame President Clinton for 911,
because he was and is just a Good Time Charlie, irresponsible, and hard
to get mad at. Electing him to the Presidency was
"The" mistake. Perhaps the fall of the Soviet Union provoked such
giddiness that some thought we could elect anyone President. As has
been said, the seeds of defeat are contained in Victory. He
seemed like a nice guy, why not give him a chance?
